Public consultation is underway for our Thurrock Youth Zone project, a new centre for young people in Tilbury, Essex. A virtual consultation is being held from 16th to 27th January at www.onsideyouthzones.org/Thurrock-Planning and in person events will take place on the 18th and 25th January at St John’s Church Hall, Dock Road, Tilbury.
Designed for national charity OnSide, in partnership with Thurrock Council, the Youth Zone will provide a wide range of activities for local young people aged 8-19 or up to 25 for those with additional needs. Facilities include a social space for everyone to gather, a café to get a hot meal, 2-court sports hall, fitness suite, performance, arts and music studios, as well as outdoor recreation and landscaped spaces.
