A new kind of museum on Turku’s waterfront.
Beyond their role as repositories of artifacts and knowledge, today’s cultural buildings mix many functions under one roof. Exhibition spaces are combined with educational zones, maker studios, social spaces and event hubs to form dynamic venues where people meet and ideas are shared. Increasingly, museum and gallery designs are becoming extensions of the public realm, with flexible, adaptable spaces responding to shifting visitor patterns.
