Construction is underway on our project for OnSide Youth Zone Thames Gateway in Essex. We were delighted to join a recent event for funders and patrons to walk around the site and meet members of the young people’s development group.

The new Youth Zone is set on the edge of a recreation ground in Tilbury town centre. A wide range of activities will be on offer to young people, including arts and drama, music and recording, sports and fitness, as well as social spaces and a café. A taller, curved volume announces the entrance and sports hall, while the massing steps down towards the west respecting the park setting.

Construction is expected to complete in Spring 2027.
